Kursk State Medical University: Going Global
Given the historically dynamic Indo-Russian relations, there are plenty of medical colleges in Russia for Indian students that are accredited by the WHO as well as the medical councils of various countries (including the NMC/MCI of India), FAIMER, ECFMG, etc. Out of these is the Kursk State Medical University. This post, however, specifically focuses on the steps taken by this university to go truly international; to make its presence felt globally and develop their standards according to what's accepted worldwide. Academic Exchange To further integrate the Kursk State Medical University into the international scientific fold, students of this university are sent to other higher medical education institutions outside Russia. This is what’s called an Academic Mobility program.
